clients. The Company's software products are used by over 60%
of the NLJ Top 250 law firms, including 8 of the top 10. Micron
is also a key software developer for the National Association
of Law Placement (NALP).
Micron's
focus is developing web-based software for the legal community.
The Company's products streamline the workflow process, deliver
advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities, and reduce
operational costs. These products provide recruiting and applicant
tracking software for law firms and MCLE tracking for law firms
and corporate law departments.
Micron's browser-based products - LawCruitWeb (which includes
Performance Evaluation Software) and CE Manager - work independently
or as an integrated suite, setting the standard for managing the
progression from law student to career attorney.
The Micron Team. Micron's dedicated team of developers,
support-specialists, and industry experts deliver world-class
software and superior customer service.
Micron's development staff consists of expert database and GUI
designers with extensive experience integrating to existing systems,
tapping into SQL or proprietary databases, and securely extending
them over the Internet. This results in intuitive software that
avoids time-consuming and expensive learning cycles and lessens
the effect of employee turnover.
Micron's support-specialists are professionals with wide-ranging
backgrounds in the legal and educational communities and in software
development. This team works closely with both clients and our
software development group, resulting in continuous software enhancements
that are driven by customer needs and benefit all customers.
For nearly two decades, Micron's senior management has been an
industry-leader in software and content development. Senior management
has been a pioneer in various projects with major law firms and
not-for-profit legal entities such as the Law School Admission
Council (LSAC). This work included writing the LSAT exam, developing
the first LSAT preparation software, and developing the first
nationally-used legal recruiting, law school career services data
management, and MCLE tracking software.
NALP Web Development. Micron Systems is the developer
of the NALP web applications. NALPLawSchools.org is for law schools
wishing to list their school's academic programs, placement procedures,
and students in the online and annual NALP Directory. NALPForms.org
is for organizations wishing to list their employment information
in the online and annual NALP Directory. NALPDirectory.com is
an online searchable database of all organizations listed in the
NALP Directory of Legal Employers.
